Working alongside Edinburgh architect Jens Bergmark, we transformed a compartmentalised house into a bright, open, family-focused home designed for modern living. By removing key internal load bearing walls, introducing new floor joists with an overlay underfloor heating system, and installing elegant limestone flooring throughout the kitchen and garden room, the spaces were connected and redefined.
Enlarged window openings now form generous patios with sleek Rationel sliding doors, flooding the interior with natural light and strengthening the connection to the garden. The bespoke kitchen, handcrafted by Sandy of Edinburgh Woodworks and installed by our team, anchors the space with precision and warmth, A newly exposed and repointed rear gable wall adds texture and contrast, balancing contemporary design with character. We are very proud of what we achieved here.
