Tony Raton:
The master of stone and steel. A Jedi knight of the construction world and a fervent recycler! Loves milk and 2 please.
Jackson Barker:
Our most enthusiastic carpenter and great all round guy. Nothing’s a hassle. Football mad, doesnt drink tea though!
Tom Brady:
Captain of the ship and finishing wizard. A meticulous eye for detail and loves to be challenged. Full time family man and part time sailor!
Ryan James:
Super technical form and fine finishing carpenter. A wonderful addition to our team and a total gentleman. Always a smile at the ready! Massive rugby fan.
Dave Bellingham:
Long-standing, fine finishing maestro and all rounder. The kindest man I‘ve ever known & saviour to all the bugs and beasties rescued from harm’s way.

Our project was our first renovation, so we wanted to be helped through the process – we didn’t know what we didn’t know. It was also quite a big project: extension, kitchen, bathrooms, heat pump, solar panels etc. for a Victorian house. Pretty much top to toe. So a lot of complexity and potential for lurking issues.
Tom is so knowledgeable and helpful, and really easy to work with. Every time an unexpected problem arose (e.g. 100 year old drains that were not ever fitted properly), Tom explained our options and helped us through.
The results are amazing. The design has many parallel lines and sharp corners that all need to be perfect to look good, and they are all perfect. There also lots of period features that needed upgrade and repair, and Tom found excellent reproductions where we needed them.
Our neighbours are very complimentary about the Cramond team – they made sure to minimise disruption and keep everyone informed. One neighbour is already looking at hiring them.
