He responded thoughtfully and patiently to the questions we asked, instilling confidence in us at each stage of the renovation process that our vision for the flat would be successfully realised. He built a number of bespoke items for us to accommodate our desire for increased yet discrete storage, fully integrating these pieces into corners, cupboard cavities and beneath sash and case windows in order to deliver our objective of a more fluid and, ultimately, less cluttered living space. These elegant and eminently practical pieces are features to be admired rather than concealed and it is a credit to Tom’s artistry and skill that he is able to combine functionality with beauty in the ways described.
